If you like Photomontage, probably one of the biggest artists in that medium is Romare Bearden. An African American artist who came of age in the first part of the 20th century, he studied under prominent European artists and co-wrote books on African-American art. He was successful in a variety of different arenas. According to his website, he was a "multitalented, highly prolific, intellectually engaged artist, who was a humanist, social worker, cultural worker and institution builder." He's well-worth researching as an artist and an activist. He was recently featured in a show at the National Gallery.

Becky Walker is a secondary school teacher and artist. Her paints are "inspired by a wide range of subjects from everyday overheard conversations to traditional folktales and myths." She is from the UK but Becky from Tom Sawyer was from Missouri. Her website is here. It has a nice, naive style that reminds me of cartoons I used to see on Liquid Television, back when MTV was good. Ha, ha, ha, Judy IS

Adrian D'Alimonte is Toronto-based computer graphic designer who uses modern technology to design thoroughly awesome throwback to the space age aesthetic of the mid to late 60s. It really is the type of thing that grinds my crank and reminds me of the era in my early 20s when I would only wear white or silver things out to the show because it was out of this world. His works can be found here.
Adrià Fruitós-- A Portuguese Commercial and Children's Art illustrator. Her work can be found on her website. Here are some examples of her work. The first picture shown below is called "Violin" and the second is from her illustrations of Fahrenheit 451:

Although she normally comes across as soft-spoken, actress Gwyneth Paltrow did not bite her tongue recently in defense of her Web site Goop.com. "Fuck the haters! I saw this blog of people writing horrible things about me and, for a second, your ego is so wounded," Paltrow said in the March 2009 issue of Elle U.K. magazine. "How could people hate me, my intentions or what I'm trying to do? I'm a good person and I'm trying to put good things into the world."
I can hate her very easily. In fact, I enjoy hating her immensely.

Here is something to occupy me in its absence:
Or, deliciousness? These are more inspirations than what will be on the actual template.
No blatant copyright violations for me!
My God! It's almost April.
